What is Iyengar Yoga? One of the most popular taught in the U.S.,
Iyengar approach to Hatha Yoga combines classical soft yoga
with strength, stamina, flexibility and correct body alignment.
This
method creates the most impact upon bones to stabilize and
align the pelvis and spine. Props facilitate movement and gain
comfort
and confidence.
Restorative or Gentle Yoga helps you relax and de-stress. Aids
chronic pain, especially persons recovering from illness
or a life transition.
Works well for students who are stiff or weak.
Yoga Level I is for new and ongoing students. Focuses on standing
postures to bring elasticity to joints and muscles; build
stamina and stability. Introduces forward bends and shoulder balance.
Yoga Level I-II is ideal for students with some experience
or those new to the Iyengar method. Introduces arm balance,
other
inversions

salutations and poses to develop strength, flexibility
